Sterling SCION 12.5mm with eye 200'
Scion 12.5mm is thick for good grip, with a polyester cover that provides a soft, knot-able feel. Its carefully engineered to fit that sweet spot of low elongation but good absorption of dynamic forces. The durable cover works well with mechanical climbing devices and it runs efficiently through hardware. This is a great rope for the climber constantly switching between SRT and DRT.

The Scion’s ability to absorb dynamic forces makes this rope ideal for MRS, and SRS climbing techniques. The 12.5 mm Scion is a double-braid featuring a burly polyester 24-strand sheath, yet engineered to have decreased elongation, soft handling and easy knotability.
The durable sheath is designed to handle mechanical devices and run efficiently through hardware. The Scion can be hand spliced and is also available with sewn terminations.
